Administrator is the second highest ranking that one can achieve at the Zelda Dungeon forums, appearing behind only Webmasters. Administrators have moderation powers over the entire forum as well as the shoutbox. Additionally, administrators have access to the forum administrative panel, which gives the user numerous powers over the forum. However, exact powers and responsibility differs from administrator to administrator. Users are designated to be Administrators by their red user color on the Zelda Dungeon Forums.

Duties of a Administrator
Administrator consist of some of the most loyal members of Zelda Dungeon and the forum. While they have the powers that a Super Moderator has, they are not responsible for actively moderating the forum, but rather, they take part in the administrative and behind the scenes work of the Zelda Dungeon Forum. Also, Administrators are expected to be responsible, as any other moderator or arbiter etc would be expected to, however these are expected to NEVER abuse their power, and doing so will mean consequences, including the possibility of losing their rank.
- Rules - Administrators are those that have a firm understanding of the rules and rarely ever break them.
- Hylian Hero Forum - Administrators have access to the private Hylian Hero forum.
- Administrative Forum - Administrators have access to the private Administrative forum and are able to voice their opinions on all issues in relation to the day to day activities of the Zelda Dungeon Forums.
- Shoutbox - The same capabilities that Arbiters have within shoutbox.
- Moderation - Administrators have moderation powers over the entire Zelda Dungeon Forum.

- Mr. Mosley, formerly Darklink01, received a promotion to administrator in October of 2009. He has replaced the now inactive Cartoons.
Previous Administrators
Zelda Dungeon has had a few Administrators in the past. The first generation of forums was created and administrated by MetalMallow, a member who is no longer involved with Zelda Dungeon. During the 2nd generation of forums before there was a Webmaster category ranking at the Zelda Dungeon Forum, Mases was an administrator. Mases however, was not actively involved in the administration of the forums, and was just given this position based on his Webmaster role at the website. Avenged, also a webmaster of the site during this period of time, was given an Administrator role at a point in time. Cartoons, was also an administrator.
During the 3rd generation of forums, in the later spring and early summer of 2008, Avenged was temporarily given his Administrator rank back, and a new administrator joined the team in Dabombster. These two administrators were promoted because Mases wanted to move away from active duty in handling some of the frequent issues of the forum. This however, did not last long, as after a few short weeks, Avenged had left the forum and Dabombster had grown inactive in his role, eventually reverting to his prior role as a Staffer on the site. Cartoons also gave up his rank of administrator in September 2009.
How to become an Administrator?
Administrators are chosen specifically by the sitting Administrators and Webmasters. Prior to becoming Administrators, members are usually in a Super Moderator position at the forum. Administrators must be in close contact with the high ranking members of Zelda Dungeon and the Zelda Dungeon Forums in order to be considered for the position. The qualifications are assessed on an individual basis, but the two major credentials needed to become an administrator are intelligence and loyalty.
