In The Wind Waker, the Windfall Island auction is held in the mansion every night.[1][2] Zunari will allow 1 minute to bid on the items. To make a bid, the player must repeatedly press 
"A" and offer any amount of Rupees higher than the current bid.[3] Making a bid 15 Rupees or more will shock the crowd and prevent them from bidding for several seconds.[4][5][6] This can be a valuable strategy to ensure a winning bid towards the end of the auction.
The items offered for sale are Treasure Charts #18 and #38, and a Piece of Heart. Should any of these items be purchased by another of the townsfolk present, it will be returned and resold at the next auction.[7] Once Link has purchased these three items, only Joy Pendants will be available.
