The Boom Box is one the few possessions that the drifter bodyguard Teddy Todo carries with him. The item is first seen in the Hero's Shrine dungeon in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Todo pulls the Boom Box out in order to celebrate when he and Tingle open a locked door. The track that Todo chooses to play is none other than the traditional sound heard when Link opens a chest, and obtains an item.
