The Hylians are the ruling race of Hyrule. Hylians look just like humans; the only difference appearence-wise is their ears. The ears are said to be designed so that the Hylians could hear messages from the gods. All Hylians have pointed ears. Hylians are often considered the leading race of Hyrule, but other races would be glad to disagree. Hylians are able to use magic to their advantage, and this has been demonstrated in several different ways over time.
