The Chef is a character in Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. He owns a small restaurant in Port Town with his wife, the Waitress. When Tingle first meets The Chef, he will not speak until paid 15 Rupees.

Tingle can purchase several recipes from the Chef at different points during his journey, such as Beef Stew and Meat Soup. He can also purchase different sizes of pots from him and his wife, which gives the ability to use larger amounts of ingredients in his recipes.

When Tingle obtains all 28 recipes and brings them to The Chef, he will be rewarded with a rare Rupee Good, the Chefs Hat.
