Crows of Hyrule are extremely hateful and will perch themselves on anything they can find. They are sometimes hard to defeat, as they swoop down at high speeds, but a slash of Link's sword will send them away.
Crows in The Minish Cap behave in much the same way as in A Link to the Past, but play a more prominent role. When Link visits Dampé, he received the gate key needed to open the door to the graveyard. When he exits the house, a Crow swoops down, steals the key, and retreats to its nest. Link travels to the nest and is able to destroy it and steal the key back.
