Dampé's Grave

After Link becomes an adult, he is told by Sheik to go to Kakariko Village. If he goes to the graveyard he will find that Dampé, the gravekeeper, has died and was buried in the graveyard. Dampé's shed is now open, and inside is a single item, Dampé's Diary, which tells you to find him. If Link pulls back Dampé's grave, he will find a secret hole that he can fall through. When he does, he will see the ghost of Dampé asking if him if he wants to race. If Link can keep up with him until the end, he will get the Hookshot which is needed to enter the Forest Temple. After getting the Hookshot, Link can re-race Dampé, and if he gets under one minute, he will earn a heart piece.
