Very much like a plant version of a Like Like, Deku Likes are stationary carnivorous plants that are possibly distant relatives to Deku Babas. They are found only in the Forest Temple and City in the Sky, and appear to form a symbiotic relationship with Big Deku Baba.
To defeat a Deku Like, throw a Bombling or a regular bomb into its mouth. It will chew on the explosive, causing it to blow up, and the Deku Like will be withered away to nothing. When Link falls down from above one of these plants, the Deku Like will swallow him whole, consuming one heart and, if he survives, spitting him out onto the ground nearby. Only four of these plants appear in the course of the game (not including those attached to Big Deku Babas) all of which are found within the Forest Temple.
