Dobo is an Anouki from the Isle of Frost, living in the Anouki Estates in Phantom Hourglass. He is among those Link questions while he's searching for a Yook who has abducted and impersonated one of the villagers. Dobo tells Link that Mazo is honest, and therefore can't be the Yook.^[1] Mazo, in turn, tells Link that Dobo is also telling the truth.^[2]

As it turns out, neither Dobo or Mazo are being impersonated.
