A forest is a large area of land that contains a great density of trees and also small amounts of plant life. Almost all of The Legend of Zelda games features a forest with the exception of Phantom Hourglass, as the area of trees present on the islands are too scarce to be deemed in such a way. Whether or not the Forest Haven in The Wind Waker is considered a forest by this definition is debatable, however there is the Forest of Fairies and that is considered a true forest.
