The Great Fairy's Sword, also known as the Fairy's Sword,[1] is one of Link's swords in Majora's Mask.
Contents |
Location
The sword is obtained by collecting the fifteen Stray Fairies in Stone Tower Temple and reuniting them as the Great Fairy of Kindness in Ikana Canyon's Fairy Fountain.
Uses
Unlike the Kokiri Sword, Razor Sword, and Gilded Sword, the Great Fairy's Sword is equipped to the C-button as an item. Black roses are etched into its blade.[2] It is a double-handed sword, and as such cannot be used in concurrence with a shield. To counter this disadvantage, the Great Fairy's Sword deals four times as much damage as the Kokiri Sword—making it the most physically powerful sword in the game—and it is useful for dealing immense damage during boss-battles. Moreover, Link can use this sword even if he is jinxed by a Blue Bubble.

Soulcalibur II
The Great Fairy's Sword is one of Link's weapons available in Soulcalibur II, although it goes by the name of Great Fairy Sword instead. Paired off with the Hylian Shield, the Great Fairy Sword can be bought in the Cepheus Shop for 9800 Gold while playing the Weapon Master Mode, and it is considered to be Link's ultimate weapon.[3] When Link equips this sword, his attack goes up to 120% while his defense stays the same; however, Link will take 20% block damage compared to the usual 10%. This penetrable guard is countered with the fact that Link's health will regenerate 5 HP every second.

| A sword blessed by the Great Fairy, rumored to be able to reflect any and all dark magic. Merely holding it fills the wielder with strength, but unfortunately, its protective power did not survive intact in this world, and it is no longer able to resist enemy attacks. |
