Guma (グマ) is the Japanese name for an otherwise unnamed enemy from The Adventure of Link.
These foes somewhat resemble giant, humanoid moles, and constantly hurl balls-and-chains in an upward arc, making approaching them somewhat difficult.
Trivia
- Interestingly, this enemy's name translates as Gooma, which is the name given by the translation team to a new boss exclusive to non-Japanese versions.
- The Guma's fighting style is also very similar to that of the Hammer Bros. from the Super Mario Bros. games, in that it occasionally stops throwing for a brief moment, leaps into the air, then continues throwing.
