The Ordon Shield is a shield in Twilight Princess. During the night of the invasion on Ordon Village, the villagers plan on using the shield and the sword that Rusl crafted to fend off the monsters. Link, in his wolf form, can enter Jaggle and Pergie's house from the roof and steal the shield off of the wall. Only after he has been turned back into a human by the Light Spirit can he use it.
Since this shield is made out of wood, it will burn up if it makes contact with fire, so acquiring the Hylian Shield before entering the Goron Mines makes progression easier. If the Ordon Shield burns up, Link can purchase a new Wooden Shield from various shops.
