The Poacher's Saw is an item that is part of the trading sequence in Ocarina of Time. Link obtains the Poacher's Saw from Fado in the Lost Woods after trading it for the Odd Potion. If Link takes the saw to the head carpenter in Gerudo Valley, he will give Link a Broken Goron's Sword, which Biggoron can fix to make the Biggoron's Sword later in the trading quest. Link can only accomplish these tasks in the latter part of his adventure, after awakening as an adult.
