The Rusty Bell is found in the Samasa Desert and is later given to the Subrosian Smithy for polishing. It becomes the Pirate's Bell.
Although the Rusty Bell is always found in the same cave, the exact entrance to the cave will commonly change, hidden underneath one of the many quicksand pits. Link had to carry the skull of one of the Piratians around with him, until it started indicating that the entrance was nearby. Link then had to drop into the nearest quicksand pit, to discover it.
