Smasher (ジャッキー, Jakkii) is the name of a mysterious ball-shaped creature on Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. It attempts to pick up a heavy sphere and throw it at any targets in an effort to incapacitate them. Link managed to throw the sphere back at Smasher with his Power Bracelet, slamming the creature into submission.
Smasher made a return appearance in Oracle of Ages inside the Crown Dungeon. Its attack pattern, overall appearance, and method of defeat remained the same, except it was slightly harder, since it could teleport the ball anywhere.
