About
The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition is a free promotional disk which was originally given out to Nintendo Power members with 5 or more registered games at Nintendo.com. The disk also comes free with a new purchase of a Nintendo GameCube, a renewal to Nintendo Power (magazine) or from purchasing a subscription to Nintendo Power. This game even has it's own Players Guide, which is rare for a promotional game. Despite the fact that all the games were not originally created for the Gamecube, all four games have been specially modified to be played on the Gamecube with their original graphics.
This collection of games is most likely to be coveted by many of the hardcore Zelda fans, as well as the new gamers. It brings back four of the most popular Zelda games in all their glory. Link's very first quest, his second quest, the first time he went 3D and the journey through Termina are all included.
It was also released in Europe. The game was bundled with a GameCube Console, along with Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Games
The disk contains a full version of the following games:
- The Legend of Zelda
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Other contents:
- Zelda Retrospective
- Wind Waker special movie
- A 20-minute playable demo of The Wind Waker, which allows you to play three different scenarios from the game. There are no barriers or limitations to this demo (gameplay wise) except the 20 minute time limit, after which the game resets.
