Speed Run

Speed Runs are Game Completions in minimal time. Most speed runners are out to break the record times. Often times every conceivable glitch is employed to shave time. Unlike the Three Hearts Challenge optional upgrades are acceptable, but genearally ignored if obtaining them costs more time than having them saves. The standards of the day are to have a video of the gameplay to prove that a record was truly broken. Speed Runs are difficult challenges for a Legend of Zelda series fan. The only reward is for the Community related bragging rights. One speed run contender has become a very familiar name for his record setting, TSA. Many of his records have since been broken, but his pioneering accomplishments have withstood the test of time.
