Non-Canon Information! The following article or section is not Zelda canon, and shouldn't be taken as such.

Spryte was a character in The Legend of Zelda cartoon series. She wore a pink dress, and she was a small fairy. She was a friend of Link and Princess Zelda, and helped them a few times throughout the cartoon series. Spryte was voiced by Paulina Gillis. She never made a video game appearance.

In The Legend of Zelda cartoon series episode 4, "Kiss 'N Tell", it is revealed by Spryte, herself, that she is a princess. At the end of the aforementioned episode, a conversation between Link and Spryte takes place.

Link: 'The one thing I don't get is, the Wall Witch told me I had to be kissed by a princess to be changed back, but Spryte's kiss did it.'

Spryte: 'Naturally. My father is King of the Faeries, so that makes me a Princess.'

Spryte's father's name is Oberon, although whether or not he is named for the same Oberon from Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' is unknown. This is revealed in The Legend of Zelda cartoon series episode 11, "Faeries in the Spring".
