Wooden Sword

Main article: Wooden Sword

Link finds this default weapon in the Hero's Cave in Oracle of Seasons. If playing through a linked game, however, Link automatically has the sword instead of having to complete the Hero's Cave. In Oracle of Ages Impa gives it to you.

Noble Sword

In Oracle of Seasons, Link finds the Noble Sword deep in the Lost Woods near the Tarm Ruins. In Oracle of Ages this blade can be acquired by completing the trade sequence as well as via a special password. Even though this is said to be the last item of the trade sequence, Link can obtain it without gathering the items, as this is just a way to obtain the advice to get it. He can use this advice to obtain it without ever getting the final item in the sequence.

In the Japanese versions, the Noble Sword is called the White Sword.

Master Sword

Main article: Master Sword

The legendary, evil banishing blade, the Master Sword. To obtain it you must do a linked game with the game's counterpart. This sword can hurt Ganon without having to spin attack.

If you do not have the Noble Sword when you would get the Master Sword then you will get it instead. You will get the Master Sword from the Noble Sword’s location.

Biggoron Sword

Main article: Biggoron Sword

The Biggoron Sword can only be acquired in a linked game by use of a password. In Oracle of Ages, the blade is obtained from the Goron Elder who resides at the Goron Shooting Gallery. In Oracle of Seasons, it is obtained from Biggoron himself. While every other item in these games is assigned to one hand and can be used in conjunction with another, the Biggoron Sword takes up both slots, as it is held with both hands.
