I could have sworn that it was confirmed that the oddly-shaped tree was the Deku Butler's son. Is this untrue? I'll try and find the source of confirmation. Ancblue52 22:12, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- It's "confirmed" in the sense that pretty much nobody denies it, but there's no straight-forward text that says it. You have the Deku Butler saying "my son left home long ago", and Tatl talking about how you look just like the tree that, oddly enough, the butler appears to be weeping next to at the end of the game. So while it's all very conclusive evidence, there's no 100% undeniable statement -- there's always the chance that someone out there will say "no it's just a coincidence".
- Regardless, though, I think that it is essentially confirmed enough that the theory-ness of it all could be removed and made into a factual section -- that's essentially what it is, after all. Straight fact. —Ando (talk) 22:59, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
