Talk:Tiger Scrolls

I personally think that the Sword Beam deserves its own article. It's no more a mere Tiger Scroll ability than is the Spin Attack (which, coincidentally, has its own article), appears relatively uniformly throughout the 2D Zeldas (as well as a slight variation of the theme in Majora's Mask as Fierce Deity Link (the energy discs are suspiciously similar in function to the Sword Beam)), and there are in fact two variations on it in the 2D games- the straight "blade-like" beam in most of the games, and the "swirling" version seen in A Link to the Past. A similar argument can be made for the Dash Attack as well. Anyone agree with me? Dinosaur bob 15:51, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

Definitely. I think the only reason that the sword beam doesn't have it's own article is because it is never vital in any quest, so it's almost never directly referred to. And the dash attack has always been referred to as "using the Pegasus Boots". --Adam 17:01, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
So A. Do I have the OK to give them their own articles?

and B.How do I go about giving them their own articles instead of a redirect? Dinosaur bob 17:21, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

A. You don't need my permission to do anything, I'm not the boss!! I'm just here to keep the place in good order, and if I don't like something I'll discuss it with you :) B. To create their own articles, just go to what is now the redirect (e.g Dash Attack; you'll need to click on "redirected from..." at the top), and edit it into a full article. --Adam 17:29, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
Thanks on both counts! You're a big help! Dinosaur bob 20:07, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

On the scroll

The kanji is "Art of War" (武 Bu).KrytenKoro 18:48, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

I've cropped the Tiger Scrolls, but I'm having trouble making the background invisible. You can see them here, I'll try to finish them soon. However, if one of you can do it without reducing the image quality, more power to you.KrytenKoro 20:56, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
