A small introduction
Hey everyone. I'm Smitie, the only female Moderator at Zeldadungeon since 31 december 2008. I moderate the General Chit Chat section Born 30 january 1990 in the Netherlands. I currently live in Hoeven (a small town in the south-west) in the weekends and in Nijmegen during the week for my study. I finished my gymnasium and I'm now studying Biology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen.
What are your hobbies?
Like most zelda fans, my main hobby is playing videogames (how original). I also like to hang around the forums, write stories and listen to music. I sometimes write game reviews for fun and post them on a game site. After three reviews I got a job offer for writing reviews on a Dutch game site, but I refused.
Zelda
My first Zelda game was Ocarina of Time. I found it with Majora's Mask and several other games on a flee-market, but sadly I only had enough money to buy one of the games. I didn't know what Zelda was back then, but for unknown reason I chose for Ocarina of Time and I still don't regret it. Now my Zelda collection has grown to 8 games. I currently have A link to the past (VC), Ocarina of Time (VC), The Windwaker (GC), Twilight Princess (Wii), Link's Crossbow training (Wii), Phantom Hourglass (NDS), Four Swords Adventures (GC), The collector's edition (GC) and The Minish Cap (GBA). I still want to get my hands on a CD-i a friend of mine has and maybe I buy one or two CD-i zelda games.
Zelda Dungeon
I don't know how I ended up at ZeldaDungeon and I only know I registered in April 2006. I think I was looking for zelda images or wallpapers. Eventhough my English was horrible at the time, I registered on the forums. After half an hour I finished my first thread in the old introduction forum. I remember the first response was from Onilink89....and it was completely in Dutch. It kind of surprised me, because I didn't expect another Dutch member on an American forum. I posted for a while and learned a lot of new English words in the process. I also made a lot of friends and everyone seems to like me so far. I can be found on the forums every day and I always like a fun shoutbox chat.
I considered leaving Zeldadungeon when the latest forum just started. It was all new, empty and I started to lose interest in the Zelda series. I tried registering on a Dutch zelda forum and reviving my account on another Dutch game forum, but it didn't have the same atmosphere as Zeldadungeon. I came back to Zeldadungeon and I never left ever since. The Zeldadungeon community is best community there is and I enjoy being part of it every day.
