The TL template[]

Yo, I saw your template edits, and then your edit summery reading "ok, how do we delete this", yeah, I can delete it easily, but you still have it on your userpage and if I delete it, then you're just going to have a big, ol' red link and a bunch of text-mess. So, if you actually want to use it on your userpage, but not to have an actual wiki template for it, just hard code it on to your userpage and then we can delete it or whatever.Mandi Talk 21:36, February 23, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, I think Kombatgod wants the incorrectly named page (Tamplate:TL as opposed to Template:TL) deleted. =) Embyr 75  --Talk-- 18:16, 23 February 2011 (EST)
Oh, thanks! Anyways, it's been deleted, I completely missed that there were two templates, though! :PMandi Talk 01:33, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
Yep, it was the incorrectly named page I wanted to delete. Thanks for your help! ^^ --Kombatgod 06:10, 24 February 2011 (EST)

Here's an idea for ya![]

Recently, I've been working on rebuilding and reorganizing our Zelda Timeline pages here on the wiki. You have a fantastic idea semi-started on your userpage under the heading "Timeline Guidelines" that I think the wiki could really use and benefit from. Were you thinking of completing that for all the titles? If not, would you like to take this on as a personal project? Let me know - I've got a couple ideas in regards to what the tables could actually be used for. — ciprianotalk 00:26, 4 April 2011 (EDT)

Oh, I'm sorry I've seen this message only now! My initial idea was to make it for every game and place it in the timeline sections, but then I noticed that editing the timeline isn't easy because we had to keep it insanly theory-neutral... for example I edited saying that Ocarina of Time was created as a prequel to A Link to the Past, so the SNES game was intended to happen in the Adult Timeline, but then when Wind Waker came out, many new theories came out for its placement... Well, this statement was deleted, because considered speculative, while it's not, I even referenced it! I kinda gave up and just improved the sections a bit, you may have noticed, but didn't include the templates, because even some facts that I'd write there are arguable... Starting status of the Sages in OoT? Starting and ending status of the Ganon in FSA? What about the Seven Maidens? In the ALTTP table I would have said that the status of the Seven Sages is dead. The Seven Maidens are their descendants, but could the same be said for the Maidens in FSA? Anyway, Now that you gave me positive feedback I feel like writing the missing tables, so I'll do it! All these problems will be solved by following edits.--Kombatgod 21:15, 8 April 2011 (EDT)
They look great! My idea for the timeline pages was to make a table that would outline the most important, connective information in regards to timeline theory, so that readers can see at a glance, where some of the proofs for game placements come from. And like you have, the most important cornerstones of any timeline theory is the status of Ganon, the Triforce, and the Master Sword at the beginning and ends of the game. Great job! I'll be back on tonight to see how we can actually integrate them into the article. — ciprianotalk 09:29, 9 April 2011 (EDT)
