Ah that's a good point. Anything that says: "The Player" or I and such should be put into third person. "The Player" should be replaced by Link. :) I will change the King Dondogo page.

Also talk to Matt about some questions. He should help. Or the other Admins. I'm learning some things about the wiki and technically I'm just help as being a Mastermind of the wiki (I am the owner of Zelda Temple). - AtrumLevis (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 00:53, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Good work[]

You seem to be catching on quickly, I'm compelled to say that I look forward to more work from you. Axiomist (talk) 02:58, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, lurking and reading FAQs goes a long way.--Rootbeer277 12:49, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Stun Draft[]

To stun an enemy means to prevent it from moving for a few seconds, often without doing any actual damage. During this period they cannot attack or defend themselves. Stunning should not be confused with freezing, which will often do damage to the target or kill it outright as it is encased in a hard, icy shell.

The ability to stun enemies is one of the longest-running traditions in the Legend of Zelda series. Many bosses and mini-bosses will need to be stunned before they can be damaged, and it provides an effective way to sneak past common enemies and get past the defenses of well-armored ones. Some very weak enemies can be destroyed outright with weapons that are normally used to stun, and some very powerful enemies cannot be stunned. They are some of the most-used and most-loved weapons in the series, perhaps second only to the sword.

Stun Techniques[]

Go For the Eyes[]

When fighting bosses, stunning the enemy is often the only means of opening its defenses in order to attack for actual damage. Bosses are so powerful, however, that ordinary stun weapons usually don't work on them, and some weapon that normally does damage, like bombs, is needed to stun them. Other times even such powerful weapons are ineffective, and they can only be stunned by their own attacks reflected back at them. It's usually the case that the special treasure found in the dungeon is the item needed to stun or damage the dungeon's boss.
Examples:

Stop Hiding Behind Your Shield and Fight[]

When fighting enemies with shields, it can be difficult to penetrate their defenses without stunning them first. It can also be difficult to stun them, but stunning can often be done from a safer distance. It is usually effective to throw a boomerang around behind them unless they are also heavily armored.
Examples:

Slow Down So I Can Hit You[]

Enemies that move very quickly or erratically are often best dealt with by stunning them first. Although it can be difficult to land the stunning blow, fast enemies are often weak and can be destroyed with a single, well-planned strike while stunned. Examples:

So You Think You're Tough, Do You[]

Some enemies are very difficult to destroy, and sometimes cannot be destroyed at all, or at least not until a more powerful weapon is obtained later in the game. Fortunately most of these enemies are vulnerable to stunning attacks, although not necessarily by one of the standard stun weapons.
Examples:

It's Just So... So Beautiful[]

Certain rare enemies can be stunned with odd techniques such as playing the Sun's Song or reflecting Light Beams at them from the Mirror Shield. These tend to be evil undead creatures.
Examples:

Time Out![]

In Phantom Hourglass, the Phantom Sphere can stop time momentarily. This effectively stuns everything.

Sig[]

I noticed the you type
before you type your signature. That isn't necessary. Signatures are usually put on the same line as the text.Mandi Talk 15:08, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Not to mention it's bit of a bother having to type
every time :P

Images[]

Hi, just a quick not on a couple of images you uploaded File:Gloves.gif and File:Goronbracelet.gif. I've had to remove them from the article and replace with the originals, because the way you'd removed the backgrounds didn't conform with the wiki's quality standards. I've re-added them to the Image Request page so that one of the approved editors can create transparent versions. Also, thanks for the ALttP images, I just saw them and you've done a great job ;) Adam [ talk ] 12:01, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
