Not to be confused with the Spirit Vessel, a similar item from Skyward Sword.

The Vessel of Light is an Item in Twilight Princess.[1] It is a container which is used to collect and hold Tears of Light.

Locations and Uses[]

When the Provinces of Hyrule were pulled into Twilight, the Tears of Light were stolen from the Spirits of Light by the Shadow Insects. Thus, the Spirits of Lights of each Province ask Link to gather them all in the Vessel of Light to restore light to the area.

The Vessel of Light does not stay in Link's item inventory; instead, every time Link visits a new province, he must talk to its respective Light Spirit to obtain a new Vessel of Light and thus be able to collect the Tears of Light. Each Vessel can hold up to 16 Tears of Light, which is the same amount Link must find in each province. In Twilight Princess HD, Link must only collect twelve Tears of Light. They are displayed in the Vessel of Light Gauge.

There are three provinces where Link must collect the Tears of Light. Within those provinces, Link must explore its various areas to find all of the Tears.
