Arrows are a replenishable item, so the Bow will not function without them.[1] The amount of Arrows Link can hold can usually be increased by upgrading the Quiver[2]. They can be bought at various Shops,[3] from Business Scrubs,[4] or freely gathered by cutting grass, defeating enemies, or in small Chests scattered around the overworld and Dungeons.

The Bomb Arrow first appeared in Link's Awakening, although not as an equippable item. It can be created by placing a Bomb and then shooting it with an Arrow. It later appears in Twilight Princess as an alternative option to standard Arrows.[11] It can be used to shoot far enemies and to destroy rocks that are out of reach.[12] Bomb Arrows will also make an appearance in the upcoming Zelda Wii U.
