Blaino was the name given to a monster that had learned the art of boxing to take on intruders within Turtle Rock in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. His main attacks were just blocking and thrusting outward, but his special attack made sure the opponent was struck so hard, it would end up landing at the entrance to Turtle Rock. He was bested in combat by Link and killed.
Blaino also made a cameo appearance running a boxing arena in Oracle of Seasons. He could talk and placed rupee bets on matches between him and an opponent that was willing to fight him. He took Ricky's Gloves from the mystical kangaroo Ricky after winning a boxing match with the creature, and it was up to Link to best Blaino in combat to get the gloves back to their owner. The first time Link fought him it was to win Ricky's Gloves. After having defeated him, Link can fight Blaino again, this time earning 30 Rupees for winning the match (A 10 Rupee profit).
