Template:Enemy Bloobers are squid enemies that appear in Catfish's Maw in Link's Awakening.
Characteristics and Weaknesses
Bloobers are white, squid-like enemies based on the classic Blooper enemies from the Mario series. Though, at the time Link's Awakening was made, they were still identified as "Bloobers" rather than their modern name, "Blooper", similar to Boo Buddy now being known as "Boo." Like their Mario counterparts, they move in diagonal, lurching motions towards Link, and commonly appear in pairs. They only appear in one passageway in the Catfish's Maw that leads to the Nightmare Key. Unlike their Mario counterparts, they can be dealt with easily using any weapon in Link's arsenal, with his Sword being most immediately effective.
