Once picked, a Bomb Flower will detonate after a few seconds, and serve as an early substitute for [[bomb]]s. They are also found in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures|Four Swords Adventures]]'' and in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass|Phantom Hourglass]]'' in such places as [[Cannon Island]]. The [[Goron]]s, who call the flowers their "special crop", have an affinity for cultivating them and look forward to each yearly harvest. As a child, [[Link]] did not have the strength to pick up the flowers until the chief of the Gorons, [[Darunia]], granted him a [[Power Bracelet#Goron Bracelet|Goron Bracelet]] to aid him in his quest for the three [[Spiritual Stones]]. Bomb Flowers immediately detonate when caught in an explosion, are lit on fire, or in the case of ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]'', if they are struck by a weapon. Bomb flowers in ''The Wind Waker'' and ''The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass'' seem to be much more fragile than their ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'' counterpart, as Link does not need the [[Power Bracelet#Goron Bracelet|Goron Bracelet]] or any other assistance to pick them up, and they can be detonated by being hit with just about anything. It is found in [[Subrosia]] and is used to blow a way into the [[Tower of Autumn]].
