The Deku Scrub Playground is a minigame featured in Majora's Mask

Location and Rules

Entrance to the Deku Scrub Playground

The minigame is located in North Clock Town and is specifically for Deku Scrubs.[1] Link can reach the playground by using a Deku Flower near the entrance to the Great Fairy Fountain in order to cross a fence, or by simply climbing the fence if he uses the Zora Mask. The objective of the game consists of jumping from platform to platform by using Deku Flowers in order to obtain all of the Rupees scattered across them. If Deku Link successfully gathers all of the Rupees without falling to the floor within the time limit, he will win 50 Rupees.

The speed of the platforms increase each day, considerably augmenting the challenge. On the first day, the platforms move vertically; on the second day, they move horizontally around the area's center; on the final day, some move vertically and others move horizontally, but all of them will move faster. If Link sets a new record for three days straight, he ultimately wins a Piece of Heart but is also barred from participating again because he has too much experience in the mini-game.[2]
