Farore's Memory[1] is the book Farore uses to record the secrets between Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. The secrets are merely passwords for transferring data and upgrades between the files.

Linking Secrets are events in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. They allow Link to obtain more powerful swords, rings, items, etc. It is an optional sidequest available and not necessary for completion of either game nor the linked sequence of games. Each secret requires Link to obtain a small password from a character in one game and repeat the password correctly to the corresponding character in the other game. This will begin a challenge in the form of certain tasks, puzzles, or games before a reward is given.

Different Secrets are available for each game being linked first.

  • King Zora Secret
