Appearing only in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, the Gnat Hat allows the wearer to instantly shrink down to the size of a tiny gnat and back again. There are some areas only insect sized heroes can enter. The Gnat Hat functions similarly to Ezlo in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, where he aids in shrinking Link down to the size of the Minish.
