Kafei's Mask is given to Link by Madame Aroma in Majora's Mask. The mask is used to help gather information about the missing person, Kafei. It is a vital part of reuniting Kafei and Anju, but aside from that it serves no real purpose.
According to a Gossip Stone, the mask was handmade by Madame Aroma herself.
Obtaining the Mask
Link must visit Mayor Dotour's office on the morning of Day 1 and talk to Madame Aroma inside the waiting room. She will ask Link if he's the professional she hired to find Kafei. If the young hero answers "Yes", she'll give him Kafei's Mask to begin his search.
