Mount Tamaranch is the mountain that sits in the center of Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. The mountain is best known for the giant egg sitting on its peak. Link can go over to where the Wind Fish's Egg lays, but he can't actually awaken it without all the musical instruments. It is required that heads to Mount Tmamaranch in order to get to several dungeons such as the Eagle's Tower. There are also many caves in this mountain, obligating the young hero to visit this place many times during his quest.
