Template:Boss Smasher was the name of a mysterious ball-shaped creature on Koholint Island in Link's Awakening. It attempts to pick up a heavy sphere and throw it at any targets in an effort to incapacitate them. Link managed to throw the sphere back at Smasher with his Power Bracelets, slamming the creature into submission.
Smasher made a return appearance in Oracle of Ages located at Crown Dungeon. Its attack pattern, overall apperance, and method of defeat remained the same.
